Showcase cinemas (UK) taking bookings for ‘The Hobbit’ HFR 3D showings

The UK’s Showcase cinema is now taking bookings for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in HFR 3D.

Here’s their list of theaters:

Bluewater: Showcase Cinema Bluewater
Bristol: Showcase Cinema de Lux Bristol
Derby: Showcase Cinema de Lux Derby
Derby: Showcase Cinema Derby Foresters Park
Dudley: Showcase Cinema Dudley
Glasgow: Showcase Cinema Glasgow
Leeds: Showcase Cinema Leeds
Leicester: Showcase Cinema de Lux Leicester
Nottingham: Showcase Cinema Nottingham
Peterborough: Showcase Cinema Peterborough
Pontypridd: Showcase Cinema Cardiff Nantgarw
Teesside: Showcase Cinema Teesside

As for ODEON’s HFR 3D locations in the United Kingdom, as of today they are still waiting to hear from Warner Bros..  However, the ODEON IMAX in Manchester has been confirmed by IMAX, and the Liverpool ODEON told a caller that they were “99% sure” they would have it in 48 fps 3D in December.

    Thanks hfrmovies for keeping the best The Hobbit HFR list. I’ve used it loads. Can I just say in the UK that the London premiere is in 2 cinemas, both in HFR.? The ODEON Leicester Square and the Empire, Leicester Square.
